Go check out the press conference. They showcased exactly how the technology works for Red Steel. Its a 8-12 minute presentation by one of the French developers.
Its in the 10-oclock hour, near the beginning. Well worth it

Check this out, I am not a console person at all, but I love the console fights, everyone acts like it's all important, but I really like what they're coming out with.
I wouldn't mind standing up while I play my PC games, it would be a nice change, get some movement into my body and stuff.
