Well, there goes the motivation for my idea of modding the Spiral Minaret into an immense phallus.

Oh, now that piece of art in progress is hidden in the files somewhere. You should have said so before

It is for that reason, IIUC, that they dont carry Adults Only, or unrated titles.
Can you still buy a gun and ammunition in Walmart, along with your groceries? If so i find that really just wack when these kind of discussions come up about rateings.

Oblivion is a fantasy game(orc's,magic etc) so the impact of the violence although graphic(due to the quality of the graphics....hmm another problem for the 'next-gen' direction?) is i find diluted.

When i smack a goblin across the floor and see its body twitch...........its not the same as say the vibe you get from a game like GTA, which is based on kinda glorifying aspects of our 'real world'.

So i think the ESRB statement on the extra violence in Oblivion is bull - it can only be because of the fan enabled tits. strange priorities? unless maybe a violent world is what we want to be creating.....oh wait.....

Fortunately, such a move would likely have negtively affected sales more than any increased ESRB rating would.

If youre good at shooting deer with a gun, you dont NEED to buy groceries. What does a concern for seeing gore have to do with huntin'?

Actually ISTR they were talking about taking guns out of their urban locations. Not sure where thats at though.

But again, IIUC Walmart DOES carry M rated games. Its the AO games they dont carry.
