Thank you, members of Apolyton.

I have been playing World of Warcraft for about a month now. I love it, but the forums are ridiculous mostly.

The difference between the Blizzard forums and 'Poly is night and day.

At least here you will find (usually) very informative, thoughtful posts.

I keep lurking and occasionally posting at blizzard because I am looking for insight for WoW, but good GOD is it ponderous to wade through the childish crap.

I actually shamelessly admit that I love the Blizz forums for SC and WC3. They are just sooooo funny.

If it weren't for Apolyton, I would never have played Guild Wars either. The audience there was just as awful as in WoW. Well, it's the same people, mostly, I guess.

I hate the WoW forums. They force me to face the reality that most of the people I am playing with are, shall we say, far too representative a sample of people in general.

On the other hand, the priest discussion seems to be actually rather intelligent in comparison, and a vast majority of the player-proposed changes to the talents and skills of the priest sound reasonable. Did I mention my main is a priest?

(I just wanted to say "Nerf shaman!" but thought to add this so it won't start a chainreaction where the entire thread degenerates into spam... oops)

Here's a couple that make me smile. There are better ones of course, I saw these 2 right off the bat without searching.

The wow general forum is a bottomless pit of fun.

Almost as much fun as the game itself. Sometimes I don't even log into my character because i'd rather read the general and some realm forums.
