      Nah, I got ya.

I quite like TW, and bought the first 2 games, though I didn't play RTW much at all as by the time they fixed the killer bugs I was playing GW.

So with 2 generations of improvements I should be all right with MTW2.

        This game sounds interesting.

I am stoked. I loved RTW but always wished it was set in Medieval times...

"You are one of the cheerleaders for this wasting of time and the wasting of lives. Do you feel any remorse for having contributed to this "culture of death?" Of course not. Hey, let's all play MORE games, and ignore all the really productive things to do with our lives.
Let's pretend to be shocked that a gamer might descend into deeper depression, as his gamer "buds," knowing he was killing himself, couldn't figure out how to call 911 themselves for him. That would have involved leaving their computers I guess."

Well, as much as I admire the TW series, I'm not particularly pumped about this title - mainly because they already did the medieval ages once (and for many fans, MTW remains the best of the series). I do not see a great deal of innovation over what was in MTW1

Now if they went with an Alexander the Great timeframe, or even a more ancient time period than that (or here's another thought, China...), I'd be pumped. At least the game would have a different period of history to flesh out.

Not sure China: TW would sell as well as MTW or RTW.

Shogun: TW was pretty successful IIRC.

I'd like to see Conquistadors:TW, although it'd be pretty damned tough to play as the Aztecs.

You can battle the Aztecs at least in M:TW2.

You can play as all factions in RTW, that wouldnt change unless they hardcoded it or made it harder
if you want to stop terrorism; stop participating in it

I'll wait and see on this one. While I did play M:TW a LOT, the diplomatic side of the game kind of ruined much of the strategic game. Hopefully CA has looked over games such as KoH and CK and coded a sense of self preservation into their AI. No more fighting to the death or launching crusades/jihads that are doomed to failure.

I'm hoping for a change to the stratigic army system where only one stack on each side could be used in a battle. Having to fight 15 stacks of enemy army one stack at a time was tiresome.

How about you start on St. Helena with nothing. You have to kill the Nazi guards and escape. Could be a FPS/TBS/RTS hybrid. Think of the possibilies.
