You can have one, two, or more mafia. Two has been the standard for a while for groups of 15+.
Turns should be 24 hrs indeed, if possible.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Some do, some don't. Typically mafia use individual kill styles (ie one mafia poisons, one stabs, etc.), but neither are strictly required. They're one way to keep clues seperate, however.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
