I saw a few of the inactive that I've been bashing on in the list. Banned for a few days and they do not come back. They were sending insulting game messages (must of been ninja'd or something).

I now have sufficient resources (and tech) to build a colony ship. I presume it's sensible to send it to a different galaxy, and ideally, somewhere near the middle of the system (4-6). Are those two sensible premises?

Planets 4 and 5 have the highest chance of having 200+ fields (I just got a planet 5 with 302). When playing oGame, look on the lefthand side of your screen and click on the Help link. In the First Steps section there'll be a discussion of Colonies.

But your two assumptions are good. A deut-pump colony in a 14 or 15 slot is ok too so you can pump out a lot of deuterium, but for standard colonies slots 4 and 5 are much better.

I really need more crystal, so I'm building my planet up to level 20 crystal mines. The good thing about higher-level buildings is that not only do the costs increase exponentially (bad) but the production output of the builldings also increase. A level 20 mine for example adds an additional 366 crystals per hour which is just shy of the total production of a level 8 mine. One building adding the production of 8 other buildings! Quite nice. With this, my home planet will produce 2700 crystals per hour insted of just 1700 as it currently does.

You realise that sending more probes overcomes the tech disparity? Send one, if that doesn't get you much information but still gives you a 0% counterespionage chance, send more. Continue until you have the required information or until it is too risky to continue.

I find it interesting to see that T.F.B. and B.O.F. are listed as being at war with each other. Either they had a falling out (perhaps about whether to allow Sgt BFG back into the alliance ) or they aren't really at war.

Either way I like attacking both of them. Can we start compiling a list of their members and known planet locations?

I know. I usually send all 6 of mine out at the same time; lack of crystal is currently preventing me from building more.

one of my colonies got scanned within 8 hours of going over 5000 Fortunately Ive got into the habit of fleet+ resource saving so he knows Im active and compotent.

I'm about to cross the 4000 threshhold in Uni9. A neighbor has been buzzing around me, spying all nine of my planets once-in-a-while. I returned the favor just to let him know his actions were not unnoticed. Sod off, punk. Meanwhile, I've begun shifting my resources to my Uni9 306 planet. Right now, I'm focusing on building Robotic Factories with the ~40,000 in resources I brought on the first supply convoy and soon lvl5 while be completed. Tomorrow will be a long day away from my computer, so nothing major is planned.

Uni8 is uneventful. Just slowly building up my planet with what it produces plus the initial resources provided by others.
