The performance package seems interesting this time, I'll take it. (Starting speed already gives it away so I see no reason to keep it a secret.)

BTW, order for 1-6 was chosen courtesy of the Excel RAND() function. Excel btw has predicted that racer 2 (Sparrowhawk) will win the race, by virtue of the initial random string

This is probably a stupid question, but are we racing clockwise or counterclockwise?

Since our direction is south, I assume counterclockwise

But two other questions are raised.
1. What is our max speed?
2. Can we pit here?
