IIRC the colony ship still had to return to my system before it disappeared. I did not notice it for my uni 3 colonies, but did notice the strangeness on my uni 8 colony.

It shows up white for me, too.

I generally don't raid planets with less the 30K in total resources. You get half of the planets resouces if successful, so 30K matches up nicely with 3 small cargo ships, my minimum fleet.

Any less and I chewing up too many fleet slots.

My first large cargo has rolled off the production line and has immediately flown off with 3 light cargo. I love the big hauls of metal because you can drop them straight into defense

Check the Ogame forums. There is a section for Uni 8 diplomacy, wars etc.

I usully check sizes of alliances before raiding them

pay attention duke, those are in uni 3 galaxy 1 not uni 8 galaxy 3, unless I'm an idiot and you're playing in uni 3 too?
