When I want to probe it, I get a message that I could colonize this place.
I hate to think what would happen to the colonizer: if I had lived closer, I might have send a fleet without double checking

my colony ship is under construction now, but i won't be founding a colony until wednesday evening at the earliest. i'm away for a couple of days which will hopefully give me the chance to stockpile some resources, which i'm going to be pumping into my fleet.

I can start Impuls 3 in an hour.

I still have a massive Metal surplus.
I think I will spend it on a ****load of Missile Launchers. I would prefer Lasers, but don't have the crystals for them

I've decided to start raiding, my first 2 blind raids on (i)'s didn't return much..

2804 Metal, 1058 Crystal and 0 Deuterium
526 Metal, 271 Crystal and 0 Deuterium

I'm very happy with Lucky though. my global crystal production has increased by over 50% today .



Tommorow I'll be building probes and doing some non-blind raiding.

edit. To give some perspective on Colony Investment returns, if I were to save the current crystal production of lucky it would take ~50 hours to amass the 20K crystal for a colony ship. If I wanted in 2 days I could have 4 colonies, and in 4 days 8 colonies. Which actually sounds quite tempting to do...

Do you get to spend the 20k crystals on your new colony, or did you have to send (additional) recources ?

Remember you can have a maximum of (iirc) 9 colonies.

So I basically have 3 fleets pounding inactives. It is getting hard to keep track of who I hit. I was hoping that the messages would stay active if you don't delete them, thereby keeping track for you, but alas you got 10 message slots, no more FILO

Oh and everytime I look a system of two over, I find sweet inactives all over the place. I have seen a couple of them disappear in my own system though.
