  • Tycoon City: New York

Yeah, yet another tycoon game, but if it features new york and these graphics you're sure to grab my attention.

Anyone already had experiences with the developer, Deep Red Games? Are they any good?

Deep Red produced Monopoly Tycoon, which is fairly good. And this game appears to be somewhat similar in scope...

Graphics look good and the detail is accurate, but they give no indication of gameplay.

Just walking around in NYC is good enough for me. It seems to capture the atmosphere of the city well.

Sounds appealing: I like business sims.

              The graphics look strange.

For example, the first sreenshot is supposedly a 1-point perspective, but I can't seem to place the vanishing point on the image.

It looks as though it's not a 'full screen' image. The vanishing point is on the left.

very pretty, but if im gonna get a game about walking around a city, id like it to be about one I dont get to visit fairly regularly.

How about Tycoon Paris, or London?

Well, I went out on a limb and bought this (it's out now) yesterday, and it's been pretty enjoyable so far. I'll maybe post some more screens when I get some time...

I've heard it is very easy, like nomatter how hard you try to lose, you'll still end up making money... is there any truth in this?

Enjoyed the company's Vegas which looked like an evolution from Monopoly Tycoon.

I also really enjoyed beachlife although i think it was one of those games I enjoyed in spite of its limitations - bit of a guilty pleasure.
