I have a L10 solar plant, but there's a point if diminishing returns in terms of upfront costs versus energy generated. Having both is good IMO.

nice pics of your planets guys but you know the 'position' stat thing - i think its the co-ords to your planet, so you may want to build up your defences

I've been away for 5 days and now have lots of materials to build stuff I like that i can(at this stage of the game) leave it and not worry about it too much.

@Dr.Spike, as has been said, in the early stage there isn't much 'game' - its mostly waiting for your resources to build up and waiting for your buildings to get built. Still it works perfectly alongside my work and apolyton time. And the planets look cool

if any uni 8 people need a target then you could do a lot worse than 4:442:9 and 10

just a couple of light fighters and small cargo ships, my missle launchers made short work of them i need to build up my planet a bit and do some more research before i strike back, but i'm pretty safe for a few days by the looks of things.

and just incase your wondering at the coincidence of my post before this one, i didn't do it!(i haven't even invented any space craft yet!) but like i said posting your planets co-ords with your pics might not be a great idea

I got mine in a few minutes i think(might have been quicker). but a few people have had the odd issue with the signing-up/waiting for password thing, so i'm not sure how that all works.
