    1. Had not processed that battle.
    2. Ciann would have carried it by himself.
    3. Ljube was very close, had I posted the battle or even started it, I would not have allowed it.
    4. I want to encourage fast gameplay, not be Himler the GM.

    • Did he send before your initial post? I think that's the issue some of us have. If he sent < 9:18, it's ok by me

If Ljube indeed sent in orders before Spaced started posting updates, it seems that he would have been smarter to not post a "sent" message, especially as the update had started already (and Spaced had said the orders were "frozen" which implies that no more orders would be accepted).

Seems Professor Morissa must pay the price, but I will be back, and will take note of those who were involved in my demise , the Senate has moved to the top of my list

        • I didn't know who "Ciann Pollus" was so I scrolled through to check, and wasn't surprised to see Theebin's name, well done by catching me unawares

His pm was at 9:22 so then I should disregard his orders for missing by 4 minutes???WTF Also at 8:41 I said he had an hour, which he made.

He is the deal, I already had a pm from Theben that was Ljube's orders, so all he sent me was the same thing as Theben, so he did not react to the part of the turn that was already posted, hence I have no problem. If he had done something different based on the battle that were posted, I would have had a problem, but just confirmed the orders that were send from Theben.

I'm making a GM call on this one, if there is a problem with that, then somebody else can take over, cuz let me tells ya, this takes a lot of time to do. And again, I don't want to be the GM nazi here. I know that Jamski cut me some slack when I was away.

                Anyway, my 2 cents!

                  • Actually, I saw that post of yours (first battle) after I posted "orders sent". I loaded many threads, then started to read them, then hit reply in gladiator and GO, then made a PM, then sent it and finally posted sent in both threads. I was away for two weeks and had a lot of catching up to do.

                        • Personally, I think that deadline-squishery is fine, so long as the update hasn't begun. If the update has actually begun, it's never acceptable for a GM to then accept orders - although I trust Ljube when he says he didn't read the orders, it's too iffy.

But in this case I don't care, I suppose, as long as no precedent is set. That's where I really begin to worry ...

                            • If I had suspected any a$$hattery, I wouldn't have allowed it.

In this case, consider this the final warning, no other late orders will be accepted.
