There's a few starforce threads around, check them out, maybe then you'll get your answer

Edit: Or to make it easier:

I don't like Starforce either, but I'm not going to allow them to deprive me of playing what is probably a great game.

Me neither, but it'll take a long time before they'll see my money, as I have to get it shipped from America, and wont buy it for a few months at least

But of course this wont stop me from downloading the game, when it get's released

Starforce has been known to destroy RW CD-Drives, That's why I won't risk playing a game that uses Starforce.

So, as a precautionary measure, we should download the game. To protect ourselves, you understand.

I have played it for a very short period of time, and so far there's tree things bugging me:

                1) The camera is too slow when I turn the character, so I keep walking into a wall, that can't be seen

                2) I'm at chapter 3, and so far I've only seen 3 puzzles (2 of them was the same puzzle). Until now it's mostly just been "go to x, do this, go to y, do this"

                3) When fighting I can sometimes (well, often actually) press the fighting key, but nothing happens

The story does look interesting so far though

Yeah, it would be a shame to cut the puzzles out!

No puzzles? It's not an adventure game unless everything you do is a puzzle!!

Tell that to the developers... it feels more like a movie

Yeah if I want a movie though, I'll...............watch a movie. It sounds as though I am going to be disappointed with this game.

Damnit, now I know why my CD burner is burning so slowly... one of the games I actually bought is on the list. Curse this evil software damnit!

Just run the starforce removal tool and your burn speed should go back to normal. The few people who've actually had damaged drives, they don't read ANYTHING; it completely takes them out of service. The more common effect is a temporary limiting of burn speed that goes away once the StarFarce drivers are removed from the system. Unfortunately, uninstalling the game does not remove the SF drivers, and playing the game again will reinstall them.

After having played the game (still not done yet, I'm at chapter 8 or 9 or something) I thought I'd check out the official Dreamfall forums. They have a 'help' section, but to my suprise it wasn't some empty place, it's filled with "HELP, stuck af chapter 1" threads

This game is very easy, but still it seems like everybody needs help. So far I've only encountered two situations where it's not that easy:
                              1. At one point you have to push some stones in a sequence to make a 'melody', but you have to guess the sequence (lucky me it only took 4-5 tries)
                              2. At some other point (same "map", different chapter) you have to "do something" to an object, but you can't do it, unless you're standing in a very exact position (I could guess what I needed to do, but I had to get help, so they could tell me exactly where I needed to stand, and where I needed to face)

Otherwise from those non-fun challenges, there still haven't been any challenges

After I've read a few of those threads, I guess there's something wrong with my copy. Everybody complains that in one chapter you have to hide from trolls all the time, but in my game I had a hard time finding the trolls... they only showed up in the beginning of the mission
I'm glad I didn't have to deal with them, dealing with the maze was frustrating enough
This space is empty... or is it?
