  • The Operative. Noone Lives Forever

    Seems like a great game!

James Bondish female agent in a late 60s/early 70s setting... One third Deus Ex, one third Thief, and one third James Bond...

    Gamespot review: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/op...er/review.html

I just ordered it; has anyone played it?

Outstanding game. Easily of one the best (and sadly underplayed) FPSs of recent years. The sequel is even better.

    Excellent investment on your part.

What's the sequel's name? The obvious NOLF II, or something else?

Yeah, it seemed like a class act... 65 SEK + 29 SEK in transport costs... That's about 10 Euros...

NOLF and the sequel are very good. Almost Deus Ex calibre.

Now NOLF is definitely a game that should have made the IGN list.

The sequal is one of the best FPS games in existance. And amazing graphics for the day (still pretty damned good). Both games are very funny and offer interesting game play.

I've just hung around some fan sites... There seems to be a cult going...

Also checked the NOLF 2 review at Gamespot... The best part is... My old computer can run that too...

Downloading the NOLFTechDemo right now... Meanwhile, I'll check the archive here to see if there were some threads about these games back when they came out...

Contract JACK seems to be the third game in the series (a prequel)...

JACK was, apparently, a crap game. It didn't have the same sneaking and humor, I've read. Never played it, the reviews scared me off.
