I played one of them. the one in New York City (they called it something else)

crappy driving controls. Why is it driving in a computer game is nothing like driving in real life.

Maybe because four seperate keys are a poor substitute for a wheel and two pedals?

actually that was a silly question I asked.

nothing in computer games is like in real life. Sword fighting, shooting guns, climbing walls, swimming, picking up women, having sex with women.

the pedal helps like on xbox games. But you still can't "feel" the road like you can in real life.

I don't claim to be a great race car driver. But I do drive real ****ing fast. And I take corners real fast (when I'm in cars- not in my pickup). I know the limits of the car, and I know when the tires will slip. You just can't judge this in a computer game.

and sadly, I suck at nearly every driving game on computers (and xbox)

This happens because when you're playing a game in a computer you're not actually driving a car on a road...
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

Which brings up a good point: The truly great games make it easier to suspend your disbelief; or in other words they are immersive enough to feel more real. Tough to do on a computer monitor. VR is a better step in that direction. Something like GTA:SA (or Doom3) would be awesome in virtual reality (especially with that download ).
