  • New Unreal3 engine video

That thing of course has fully dynamic lighting and shadowing, like Doom3, HDR, like Half-Life2, and many more outstanding things. I'm drooling at the prospect of playing a game that looks like this.

      America's Army will use it.

Doesn't the footage come from the Xbox 360 game Gear of War?

Btw, Bioware also licensed unreal engine 3

On a related notice, Enemy Territory:Quake Wars looks no worse - http://media.pc.ign.com/media/748/748377/vids_1.html . Doom3 engine.

You know, good animations, high-res textures, high-poly models, that's all good, but everything is about lighting. Lighting is what makes the brain perceive images as real. That's why a game that has fully real-time lighting and shadowing looks more realistic than any other game - it almost tricks the brain into believing it's reality...

I can't view these movies. Can anyone help?
It just says ready, but when I push play nothing happens

I think it has something to do with the fact that I can never play asf or asx extentions (or something alike). How do I make this run?

BTW, apparantly, you can watch the high quality (haven't tried it) if you copy the 'low' link and then change 'low' into 'high'.

(just clicking on this link will not work!! You have to go to the site, click the 'low' quality link and then change it)

From what I've heard, it works for all IGN video's.
