Turn 1 - Preparations for War
With many of the sectors of Eventis now having declared their independence (which was soon recognized by Tassaguilleria and other free nations in the region), Joncha's realm was now a shadow of its former self. That would not suit him, not at all. He immediately ordered an expansion of his realm, and soon the territory of Ackbar was added to his empire.
Many leaders of the various rebel republics, as well as those of the foreign filibusters, felt that this Imperial expansion of power was a threat to their own security. A wave of paranoia beset the region, and 9 other lords began their own expansion projects: Skanky added Celery, Jaguar added Another City, Atragon annexed 100, Lord Nuclear invested in Gold, Kassiopeia added Wright, Straybow annexed the cliffs of Dover, Sparrowhawk inherited the lands of Belgium from a long-lost family member, Spaced Cowboy added Down, and Shogun Gunner made an effort to improve Quality in his nation.
Meanwhile, snoopy369 and Hercules were so struck by the paranoia wave that they refused to release any information about the "Secret Projects" they were working on.
Now, the region holds its collective breath...
