      • I'm back at Candlekeep in BG1, so not that far from finishing it.
Jaheira died in the fight with the Iron Throne wizards leaders, but I was so chuffed to kill them all that I just had her resurrected at the temple, rather than reloading and playing again.
My wiz is now level 7, with 17 HP!
I was disappointed to find that a trick I stole from NWN didn't work, and the HP you get on gaining a level aren't based on the CON you have at the time of levelling up, but on base CON. Damn! Waste of a CON potion.

        • I healed the Spirit of the Wood. What a load of hippie ****!! I wanted to burn the wood down, not save it.

          • So attack the spirit, and don't forget to run through any druids you find. Killing animals is useless for XP, but can be quite fun.

I'm thinking of staying in the tunnels below Candlekeep because the treasures are so w00tly.

So we have Diss and Jamski, Kass and Ludd and perhaps one more.

                  • Are you really going to play the OC?

I thin k you should play the mods I was playing (but can no longer remember the name of) - they're by Kevin Chan, and you only get XP for plot-related (or not) chatting and quests - not for fighting, so it wouldn't be ridiculous with 6 players pwning on the weedy monsters. Also, for those who fancy a challenge, there's a lich near the end of the first game that I didn't manage to kill (it was optional) so if you were feeling tough you could try that on.

                    • I don't have the expansions. I went to buy one of them yesterday and noticed that the store had wrongly priced WOW. It was too good an opportunity to resist.

                      • it may be tough connecting to a game when we have different versions of NWN. Though I'm not sure about that. We may not need the same versions of the game. Mine may be backwards compatible so to speak.

                        • You need the same version. 1.66 is the latest

                          • He's likely talking about expansions.

You're probably the only person here who doesn't have the whole deal, Agathon.

                              • I'm playing the new premium module right now. Pirates of the sword coast. This module can be played multiplayer if anyone is interested.

Yeah they are kind of pricey considering you can get fan made modules for free. But I find they are of good quality, better than most fan made modules (though there are a few fan made modules are exceptional).

I just finished the first part in the city of Neverwinter last night. This module is more difficult in terms of the opponents you face. I'm playing a level 1 fighter/level 4 (now 6) cleric. Dwarf of course.

I was thinking of dwarven defender. I did that once before. But for some reason I can't choose the dodge feat. It's been so long since I 've played, I can't remember the requirements for the dodge feat. My dexterity might be too low. My dext is only 12. I don't think my character will get a high enough level anyways. I prefer the cleric levels until I get level 9 spells.
