Earthbound

You know you all love this game. Sure, the graphics sucked even by SNES standards, and the music was supposedly insane (though I've never heard it, my PC doesn't have sound), but it's the most crackheaded RPG ever made.

I love:

*Beating up "New Age Retro Hippies" and "Dali's Clocks"
*Freaky psychokinetic powers instead of magic
*Distracting the enemy with a teddy bear
*The submarine ("It's just a coincidence that it's yellow") and the special "magic cake"
*Mr. Carpainter's Happy Happy Blue Blue cult

I could go on and on, obviously. What do you love about this game? And is there any hope of a sequel, ever?

I heard something about some sequal, but I don't rember what. May of been that there is going to be one, or that there is one and it isn't translated, or there was going to be one and it was canceled. I don't know.

Supposedly a sequel is in development, though no one knows if it is for the Gamecube or the next Nintendo system. They have been very tight-lipped.
