i tend to do one set of "[ b ] + [/b]" ing and then copy/paste each one onto each line, where needed.
How about an html table? Like we do in NW ... a simple one, anywho ...

      Nope.

I'll do Clue 3 as soon as I can think of one.

Nemesis? These days it is called the gradius series I believe...
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

He is isn't he! - makes me wonder if you'd still be the champ if he hadn't dissapeared for a while (feel the pressure! he's only a few behind!)

Nice one Cap I was miles away from guessing that one.

              info here at mobygames:
The people of Gradius are in trouble. The ameoboid Bacterions have launched an all out attack against the planet, and it's up to you to fly into battle and save them. Along the way you'll be able to power up your ship with hyper speed, force fields,...

Thanks CoT, it helps if you actually played the original in the good 'ol days. Otherwise i wouldn't have known either. This game wouldn't be so much fun without some decent competition for Dr.Spike and I'm glad to oblige.

Trouble is that the further you come the harder it becomes to find a new game to name. I'll have to think a bit for the next one.

your kidding right? I got thousands of games i've played over the years we haven't done yet - i can pm you some suggestions if you want

Finding difficult ones to guess can be difficult sometimes, but dont despair we've got decades of games left for the naming

Now working out a ryhmn - thats difficult every time

@ Dr.Spike - off course, you are King of Name the Game Cap is just getting closer to your crown

                      Me too.

Still, if you give it a few minutes thought something usually comes to mind.

I think you've got more games as you've won less.

And I too think Cap would be a worthy champ. I'm still going to try and stop him though.

"got thousands"!? Shouldn't you be in the lead then?

Coming with just a game isn't that difficult but I want to be a really good or special game. "Electronic Junior Angling" doesn't have the same ring as "Alter ego", "Zork Zero" or "Portal" to it.

that depends, maybe i'm just not very good at guessing before other people do

I currently have a games catalogue of +300 games approx, which covers amiga,pc,gamecube+xbox and spans the last 6 years of my hobby. I have been a gamer since 1980 though, and am not in possesion of games anymore for my ZX81, Atari800,AtariST or my first Amiga
I probably have played over a thousand games in my life(that sounds sad!)

Yes the 'classics' are getting more difficult to pick, although i'm surprised at some of the ommisions on our list(and we definately have lost a few in the process of the game so far).

                            you thought of one yet?
It's fun watching you and Spikey duel for the crown.

but the downside(for you) is that it means he's added a +1 to his score already
