I'm in the NICU next month, which means my already meager free time while be whittled away to nigh zero. But if I can make the time and effort, I'll do my best."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

I've got it... it's better than the first game, but the story is boring and it still has many of the "problems" from the first game. I'm not talking about bugs, but about missing features. I would like to play a"free game" where descisions you make can change the game, like if one of the heroes dies during a mission, that hero is gone forever
Also I would like to have "complete control" over my units, meaning I want to be in charge on who I want on a mission. Most missions are more already chosen because you need a certain member to be in a mission (mostly it's not because of the need for a special ability, but because that member has to talk to another certain member during the mission )
But at least this game seems to have more MP options... haven't played MP yet though... I only know few people IRL who have played the first game, and they didn't like it so they wont play the second gameThis space is empty... or is it?

Anothing thing I don't like about the game is how your characters gain experience. It seems to be just random (characters who does nothing can gain experience, while characters I just killed tons of enemies with has a chance to gain no experience)
Also a pre-made character doesn't have many possibilities when it has gained enough experience because it's carved in stone what the pre-made characters can 'learn'
And it's too much difference between pre-made characters and custom-made because when creating a custom one it's very easy to get a hero that is much more powerfull while cheaper than pre-made heroesThis space is empty... or is it?

Okay DD, I went ahead and got it.
Loving it so far (just rescued Bullet). What's your take on the new characters?
I haven't recruited any of the optional new ones yet (Bard, Iron Ox, etc.). I'm not quite sure what to make of Sky King yet; his machine guns are annoyingly inaccurate. I'm starting to warm to Blackjack; his flash grenade is very handy against the Nazis. Perhaps my Francophilism is showing, but I love Tricolour. She can dish out a ton of damage in a very short period of time, and she's fast enough to close the distance between her and a ranged attacker, or to stick and move against a big burly type (Killa-Rillas). Her blinding attack is also handy.
Tombstone seems like he ought to be more powerful than he is; maybe I just haven't leveled him up enough.
Green Genie was pretty handy while going through Red Oktober's place, but I haven't used her much since.
I'm so glad I finally got to recruit my old favorite, Man-O-War. And I have new found respect for Alchemiss and her Repulsion power.

I really like Supercollider. Sure, he doesn't have much back story, but he's a great brawler. He was on almost every mission after I got him.

I'm waitying for people to make some decent meshes for it so I can make a custom character or two. (the extra stock meshes only have one or two animations. ) I made a few skins for meshes that where made for the previous game only to find that it didn't work in this one.Rethink Refuse Reduce Reuse

Tombstone: Awesome. I use him everytime I can.
Tricolour: She can hold her own in a fight fairly well and the backstory makes her appealing. The plot involving her and Bullet is amusing when viewed from the prism of the present.
Black Jack: meh. He's ok. Wish he was more James Bondish.
Green Genie: She's cool. Polymorph is a cool way to shut down a troublesome mob while you deal with the rest.
