    Looks really good.

However, I would comment that the trick to getting really successful forum games is enough detail to maintain interest but not too much initially that might scare people off and more tellingly lead to a large need to iron out balance issues. You can always add more detail later when a core playerbase is in place and a core ruleset is understood.

I like the idea Like other people have said, I think the key is in making the rules clear and concise. That doesn't mean simplifying it - in fact, I think your latest post is pretty decent, but it could be trimmed down and presented even better.

I'd definitely play it, I think it has a good potential for role playing and team playing.

Hmm, i'll work on it a bit this week. Probably no point in starting it for that long anywho, weekend is best time to start, and my last weekend (this one) is mostly gone already to other things

Sounds interesting. I posted an idea like this some time ago, but the map part of my idea wasn't as good as yours. My idea was also more open in possibilities (only your imagination (and the physical limits) set the limits)...
I believe it was my lack of ability to explain what I had in mind that let to it's downfall

There's one thing I'm not sure about, about your game: Is the killer also a 'villager' seen from the other players perspective? Is the player also a gentleman/soldier/detective/etc?
You also mentioned that if a (non-killer) player killed another non-killer player (hoping he was the killer) then both players end up dead?
This space is empty... or is it?

Yeah, I wasn't sure about that either. I can understand that you might want to punish players killing the wrong person, but surely there is another way? And in any case, perhaps the fact that people would think the 'non-killer' killer was a real killer would be punishment enough? (if you know what I mean).

I dunno ... indeed, the killer would look like a normal villager, just like in Clue (R). I admit that being killed is rather a bad thing, but I don't want people nominating themself for killer, either, by going on killing rampages ... ...

But perhaps the fact that you're decreasing the number of people on your team and increasing the odds of being killed is worth it...
