New Games

    New Games

    I just bought a new computer and I would like to know what the new games are that I have missed.

    It's brand new computer with good components, so I am able to run all games perfectly. I wasn't able to do that with my old computer.

    New games are at least Doom 3, Half Life 2, Brothers in Arms. What else?

    I have a bit of an older type of puter myself so I don't know, but I heard Farcry is a good game that requires some balls, so maybe you could try that one out.

          I don't know if your old computer could handle these games, as they aren't exactly cutting edge, but I would recommend Warcraft III Battlechest for a great story based RTS.

          Sims 2 is also worth buying if you liked the original.

          If you are a RTS connoisseur, then Rise of Nations is worth the price of admission too.

                Given that you've chosen shooty games in the list (of 3) you gave above, then you may not want to pay much attention to this (or to any of the other posts either ):

                NWN is w00tly!
                Civ 2.
                Apart from Baldur's Gate I (another RPG), I haven't played anything else in ages.

                    Hearts of Iron II is a nice one, but that's a TBS, not a shooter...

                    But about Doom3, well, let me tell you: Doom III = teh suck. Don't buy it.

                            I recco NWN because maxed out it still makes newer RPGs look fugly. Also Rome: Total War, because its LOVELY on huge unit sizes with wind and grass turned on.

                              Are you mad?

                              Don't get me wrong, NWN is a great game, and for its time was very pretty with high detail, but it's not that great looking by today's standards.
