Believe it or not, I actually thought of that senario. I figured it wouldn't happen very often, and wouldn't make much difference when it did. But I'll rethink it.

The GM reserves the right to tweek this if he believes necessary.

But with no speed loss, crashes aren't as penalized as before. Unless you get into a lot of crashes and dimish your top speed too much.

Max speed and WCs can be replenshed. Lost speed can not be.

                  • Ooh, clever save.

The resemble/resent fumble seems to be a common one, but as opposed to their/they're/there and than/then (I do those often enough myself), I have no idea how it's possible.

I didn't mean to sound condescending or anything, sorry if I did. We all make mistakes, specially after a night o' fun. I wouldn't mind GMing a race eventually, though.

I don't think it is actually a "fumble". I think it is a famous quote (like a Yogi Bera type of thing, changing the actual line of "I resent that" to "I resemble that") but I don't know who originally said it.

                          Maybe someone else does?

                          • Ah. Some googling reveals that it's a rather old way to say the very opposite of "I resent that remark".

I can't find anything more on its origins, because most search results are just people "correcting" other people that it's supposed to be "resent", not "resemble".

                            • It appears to be a quote from Curly of the Three Stooges. (However, it may have appeared earlier than that; that's the earliest I, or more accurately my girlfriend the googlemaitresse , could find )
