Who freakin' cares? Only crappy people spam that spell anyway. I'm glad it's getting changed. Maybe now I can stop hearing people whining about it.

BTW... with the new rules, the diminishing returns work like this. 1st cast = 100% effective (8 sec cold). Next cast = 75% effective (6 sec.). Then 50%, then 25%, then immune (to the snare effect, not the dmg). However, if a player hasn't been hit with this spell for 15 seconds, the effectiveness resets back to 100%.

Sooooo..... If I want you slowed the whole time, you're still slowed the whole time. Earthbind totem costs next to nothing and slows you just the same. This "nerf" affects my character's toughness exactly ZERO. It does hurt crappy players though and it stops other players from whining and I'm very much for both of those things

I think it's actually good early on when there nearly always is a real need for rebalancing powers and skills. You can just sit back and let the whining take its toll.

It later when the game is balanced and the whiners still whine (out of inertia I think) it gets annoying.

Got a 60 Shaman on EU - Ravencrest. Been 60 for about a week (9d12hrs /played at 60, no grinding, no 40+ beta experience), now trying to get some end game equipment. Got the Kilt and Gloves of the Elements, and lucked into the Axe of the Deep Woods on a trash mob in lightside strath. In a guild that transferred over from a FFA PvP server in DAoC, so we're waiting for the honour system to get properly going. I'll post a little screenshot of my char and my UI, I use the Nolby Pride UI package (get at http://www.nolbypride.se), does everything Nurfed/Comsom/CT etc does without all the gfx slow down rubbish.

What is it with you guys and UI mods?

Perhaps it's when you hit the higher levels. I'm level 14 now, and I haven't missed a thing in the UI so far.

Basically, for me anyway, after level 35 or so the game became completely unplayable w/o some sort of UI mod. There are just too many different things you need to do.

I just did a lot of it today, and let's just say we had a lot of low-level spectators in Stormwind.
