There are still some issues to be resolved with Manouvre and Disengage. Specifically:
Do weapons do 1x or 2x damage against a Manouvre order?
Is damage taken during a disengage round?Visit First Cultural Industries

Unopposed attacks do double damage. This doesn't apply vs Manouvre orders though or they would be totally unprofitable.Originally posted by Smiley

Hmm, in that case I could have a single-weapon fleet, and just stick M's in all the other slots, such as MLL-MMM. This effectively makes a single weapon fleet 50% stronger.Originally posted by Jamski

Unopposed attacks will always do double damage then, even vs M orders.
