  • Absolutely not.

But your five letter words are.

    • Why? They offer the best chance of success, so it is good strategy. How is that shameless? Is building more ships in GO shameless too? Nuking people in Nuclear War?

It's also good for the game, as bigger words tend to be too easy. Both word setter and word guessers have good chances at the 5 letter words, which are frequently guessed as long as no stupid or greedy guesses are made. Unfortunately that is often not the case, but don't blame the setter for that.

      • So, we're having sth like 2 words at once?

          I agree completely.

Still I'm fond of longer words. My next word is going to be a pretty long one and yet not easy at all.

No, Doc guessed my word right (fluffy) so he has the floor. I warned you about that.

              4. You can only pick one letter for every two consecutive sets of guesses.

Does that word mean I can't vote twice?

              • You are so sweet Nick.

Suppose you guess now. An update must be posted before any more guesses are counted. After that update you can't guess before another update is posted. After that update you are free to guess once and so on. So, you can guess twice, thrice or more times.

                  • I see only one vote. I therefore claim the letter A!

PS! On that rule: If I vote in the last round of a word, do I have to wait for the second round in the next word, or does this rule only apply for rounds in the same word guess?

                      • Spike -- I want to make it clear that I was not trying to be critical of you. "Shameless" is not a pejorative term. For instance, the term "shameless spammer" gains its negative meaning from its noun. You could easily call a person a "saintly spammer" and the negative connotation from "spammer" would remain.

Since the scoring list indicates you're clearly the alpha male of this game, I was just yanking your chain a bit. It was just a bit of wordplay, clearly gone awry. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Mea culpa.

Now on with the game, eh?

Only for rounds. So you can guess last in the first round and then first in the third round.

As far as I'm concerned the game was on all the time. Now does this post make me a "shameless spammer" or a "saintly spammer"?

Not sure I agree with the former, but on with the game sounds good.
