  • DrSpike's secret alter ego revealed - and slain!

Today, our group was minding its business in the Crypt of Betrayal, killing agonized and tortured essences for writs for the city of Qeynos, when all of a sudden a foul and treacherous beast ambushed us.

You all know it. It was...

    SPIKE!!!

Of course, we bested the hideous monster, slew it and looted its belongings.

Now, Doc, what do you have to say to your defence?

What game is that? Looks like a boring MMORPG, but the graphics are surprisingly nice for such.

Hmmm, Evercrack. I should "experiment" with that sometime.

It clearly is not my alter ego. If it were I would have effortlessly bested your group of pitiful adventurers.

Well at least the game makers have realised that Mr Spike's doctorate is really from the Upstairs Hollywood Economics College.

I rather thought along the lines of Dr Jekyll and Mr Spike.

A nice breastplate with stats, that I sold for 1 gold the night after. That's still a good amount of money at my level. But I was lucky in the lotto, what doesn't happen often.

the graphics are amazing. But you need a supercomputer to see them decently.

the game didn't run that bad on my computer. I played it for a couple of weeks.

The biggest problem for me was a bug when you changed areas. The more often I changed areas, the more memory it took up and slowed my frame rate down to nothing.

I admit this bug is a big reason why I quit playing. I'm not paying $15 for bugs like this. I'd have to restart the game every few hours. More often than that if I changed areas alot.

Why the hell does EQ2 still have areas/zones? Those were made obsolete 5 years ago with Asheron's Call...
