The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Longest Journey 2 - haven't played the original, it's still sitting on my shelf, but ever since I played Syberia I've gotten a taste for point and click adventure games again

Paradox is announcing a new game? Hmm!
From The Wargamer:
After that Paradox apparently have something really good up their sleeves. After much brave and ceaseless grappling with the developers in which I had to expose myself to countless alcoholic beverages, I managed to get confirmation from Paradox that yes, they do indeed have a new engine that has been developed parallel to Hearts of Iron II, and it’s 3D this time. As for what they’re going to make with it, well nothing is confirmed yet, but after snooping around their offices, uncovering entirely circumstantial evidence and threatening to throw half the team out the window of their sixth floor office, I can now tell you that the next Paradox game will be… announced in mid January.
On a Norwegian site, I read about the same thing, only that it said they have a couple of games in development.

Adrian Hon: I am also looking forward to Katamari Damacy 2. Shame they didn't publish the first game to the PAL market.
Otherwise I'm looking forward to Black & White II. I'll be interested to see if the gaming community embraces it after their apparent disappointment with the first game.
