  • Reccommend me Xbox games

I just got an Xbox 2 weeks ago. I have only 2 games, Soulcalibur and Halo. Both are excellent, but I need to know about some other games.

I like First Person Shooter , role-playing, and puzzles. Can you reccommend any more xbox games to me?

What do you recommend for a Xbox party? I'm looking for fun multiplayer games. I don't want to play online. I was thinking of FIFA 2005. There's also Halo 2, of course. What else? Kung Fu Chaos?

NO! FIFA is an empty shell of a game with licenses and celebrity soundtracks.

Pro Evolution Soccer 4! This game is made for human vs. human competition but also has an incredibly difficult (for a regular gamer) AI.

Fusion Frenzy actually isn't a bad party game, I especially like the Sumo minigame. FIFA is good, along with most other sports games.

NHL 2K5, especially if you're Canadian.

If you're not into the formal hockey, there's a Party Mode as well with fun goof-off party games that are a blast.

Yes, NHL 2K5 looks fun. Unfortunately, my friends are not the hockey type, they're more into soccer.

Naturally there is, as mentioned, Halo 2.

I would also recommend the Splinter Cell series - one of the greatest games out for any platform. It is not strictly speaking a FPS, but nevertheless I suggest you pick it up - one could probably find the original, used, for 10 bucks or so. Also similar, although not as slow/stealthy as Splinter Cell, is Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, excellent and far superior to the PS2 version.

There is also Ghost Recon 2, which I just picked up today. So far, I've no complaints against it.

For roleplaying, Morrowind is fairly inexpensive and an excellent game. Also out there is KOTOR, KOTOR2, Baldurs' Gate: Dark Alliance, and more.

KOTOR and KOTOR2. They are MUSTS for the Xbox.

The last soccer game I owned was World Cup for the NES. By that standard FIFA is quite all right.

That was great..........lobbing the keeper worked from a certain point every time and the penalty shoot-outs were classic.

Do they make Katamari Damacy for Xbox?

Katamari Damacy is not available for Xbox. There wasn't even a release for PAL PS2 users.

The soon to be released Super Monkey Ball Deluxe would make a great party game for the Xbox.

General Xbox games I would recommend:

Jet Set Radio Future: a really fun platform game.

Metal Slug 3: brilliant arcade shooter

Panzer Dragoon Orta: a 3d old style shooter game

Otogi: Myth of Demons: nice looking adventure game

None of the Xbox RPGs impress me. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance got boring real quick. I think Knights of the Old Republic is massively overated too. Get a Playstation if you want decent RPGs, or else stick with your PC.
