I have looked at this for 15 minutes and see a grand total of 0 words that fit.
I'll venture i as a sensible guess.

It's the thing, probably, though I though it's "caliph" in English and that's why I haven't thought of it.

Yes. Caliph is the standard spelling. A quick check of my massive unabridged dictionary says khalif is also acceptable, though.

Yes, it is khalif. As I'm not native English speaker I can't judge if that is an accepted form. In Serbian it is spelled kalif.Comment
