  • EA - Battlefield 2

What do you all think? Is the battlefield franchise toast? This game is sounding more and more cheesy.

Ive got all the BF games. The only one I ever play yet is 1942 and Desert Combat.

I just hope they make the game more playable. I could play the game without problems when I had a P3 500 MHz with 386 mb ram, but when I bought a new computer (P4 2.4 GHz with 512 mb ram) it "lags" no matter what map I'm playing, no matter what details I have (tried to set everything as low as possible) and no matter if the AI is on the map or not
This space is empty... or is it?

Doesn't sound like the game's fault.

I've heard many complaints like this, and only about this game, so yes, it has to be the games fault for not supporting the HW correct
One thing for sure is, it wasn't the fault of a crappy gfx card, since I kept the card I had in the P3 machine when I got the P4 machine...

But you have reported several problems with games that sound strange. I'd look at my system before blaming the games.
