I'll give the demo a go, see how it looks.

    ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Well the demo first didn't work and then used up the memory and crashed the system.

      Not my kind of game.

come on! all the cool games cause your system to crash. Civ3 for example.

All I got was a black screen before crash.

At least Civ 3 let me see some graphics.

This does actually seem intersting. I'll be following the developement of this.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Why are people saying that it looks "interesting"? It's just a rip-off of total war, only poorly done and minus the cool combat. It's even the same time period and everything. Lame.

It's NOTHING like RTW, if you played Spartan (Slitherines last game) you'd know that. Except for the combat screen, the others look exactly the same as Spartan, which was a good but not great game IMO.

Spartan was basically Rome: Total War (although made before it) only poorly done and minus the cool combat, too.

I've got both games, they do have a *few* similarities but nothing more than that.

It's like calling RON a Civ rip off

More like calling CTP a Civ rip off.
