Vovan looked on in shock at the burning flesh of the cook. He found this somewhat ironic that the man would end up this way. Suddenly, Vovan's eyes grew large and the jaw dropped. He could swear he saw the occultist come up to the fire, and give his hand to the cook, pulling him up to his feet. The two men looked at Vovan and shook a fist at him. Vovan dropped to his knees, and feverishly started reciting a prayer. When he was done, he pulled from underneath his shirt a cross he was wearing on his neck and kissed it. It was the first time he had ever actually wanted to do it. His whole life, he has been some thing of an atheist, and only wore the cross so as to not disappoint the people around him, who were strongly religious. This time, however, he was really hoping that faith would save him.

The bishop cried at the sight of the flames swallowing the remains of the cook's life.

Vovan was shaking. The horrible scene happened earlier today continued to play repetitedly in his mind. "I really shouldn't play so much computer games." He said to himself. "This must be unreal. I must be mad. Perhaps I just fell asleep in the middle of a game and I'm dreaming."

You can't fool me ... My colleagues know where i was travelling and they'll find you ... Somebody was whispering beside vovan's ears. "AAAHHHHHHHH", Vovan screamed, using his hands to cover his ears. But he was seeing things too. It was Self biased ... The shaddow wavered, shaked, but refused to go away. Vovan couldn't take it any more. He unzipped his tent, and dashed out, almost collided with DrSpike. DrSpike's eyes were red, shinning in the darkness of the night. Vovan pushed him aside, screamming, and continued to ran. The dark trees flowed backwards. The fire was flickering. Bishop Heresson sat beside the fire, his red eyes staring at Vovan, as if he was shocked by his craziness. An owl cried. Vovan heared the fluttering of wings. He dashed toward a tent closeby and patted on it. "Let me in please!!! Let me in!!!"

A head showed up inside the unzipped entrance of the tent. It was Theben. His eyes were red too. He voted for me today. Vovan suddenly sobered up. He looked at Theben again. His eyes were as normal as any other people. It's better than staying with myself. He decided. "Please, let me stay the night with you." Vovan pleaded. Theben gave him a long hard look, and then backed away from the entrance, letting him get inside.

The night passed quietly. Vovan woke up by the first thread of sunshine. I'm alive. Ecstasy filled his body. He sat up. Theben was sitting beside him, looking at him strangely. He must have not slept well last night. Vovan thought. Theben's face looked pale, and his eyes were a little red, apparently from lack of sleep.

Suddenly, they both smiled, and hugged together. Theben opened the door of the tent, and they stepped out. A small gathering was already formed in front of Vovan's tent. Vovan pushed into the crowd, and see DrSpike's body laying on the ground. A streak of blood smeared on his paper white face, and two red dots was apparent on his neck.

"Who else isn't here?" Whoha asked. Not surpisingly to every one, Nikolai's body was found inside his tent, its door unfastened.

Now is the time to point fingers, sure it is easy to blame yourself, but its even easier to blame someone else. I blame Heresson, theben, and Vovan.

Well, following my own "killers keep quiet" idea, I'll vote FlameFlash, GeneralTacticus, and that's it.

"Can't say I care for being accused," remarked Theben. "It's just as likely that you, Whoha, are a culprit, although Flameflash has also kept to himself a lot as of late."

Theben felt hungry. He had barely eaten anything the day before and now the idiots had killed the professional chef. He wondered if there was a can opener around the camp somewhere as he had managed to snag a can of tinned meat before leaving the plane. He hoped that he'd live long enough to enjoy a real meal once again.

"Oh, great, now Vovan is accusing me. I was eyeing you strangely most of the night because I wasn't sure I'd wake up in the morning. And that's why I didn't vote for you, since I figured you must not be the killer."

Maybe I should amend my vote?

You make a strong point. There, I am not accusing you any longer.

the smell of rosemary temporarily permeated the air. there were several voices hissing, but it sounded as if the waveform was flipped, that the speaking was backwards... but on occaision, the sounds coalesced, and two names could be made out.

/me decides to light a fire

After a short while he has a good size blaze lit. As a bonus the crackling and hissing of the flames should drown out those annoying voices on the air.
