  • warcraft 2 shareware - anyone have this?

Yup, i saw Warcraft2 shareware on sale for 99 cents, and on impluse bought it. I realized afterwards its just the demo plus some extra scenarios. Still, for 99cents, who really cares?

It will be an excuse to fool around with an RTS for a bit, after i finish PST and before I get into my latest acquisition.

And several times in German stores I've seen mini games costing 10 €
The worst part is that those games are avaliable for free download on the creators page
This space is empty... or is it?

Yeah Blizzard have it, and most of the scenarios are probably downloadable. Still, enjoy.

ya, i almost wasnt going to post here out of embarrassement that id bought what could largely be found legitimately for free on the net (I thought id bought the jewelcase version, which is a common find, though for more $)

ive played first 3 human scenarios.

Its kind of fun. It must have been innovative in its time. Although im not an RTS player generally, Ive played a good bit of AOE, so im used to a just slightly more advance interface, graphics, gameplay.

The story though - I mean orcs, elves, and OIL TANKERS

Well at least ive gotten exposure to the WC world on the cheap.

WC3 is old and cheap now - try that.
