Wasn't that one of the best parts of GTAIII though? At least, I thought that doing Taxi driving was a great way to learn the layout of the city and earn some extra cash. More importantly it was a fun extra game that you could play for a while without getting too bored (there could have been more variety in drop off locations...). And who can forget Vigillante Mode? ELIMINATE THE CRIMINAL THREAT! The main missions of GTA are fine too, but I think the real draw of the game is the fun that can be had by just screwing around in the city and messing with the little minigames.

Well, that's my 2cents on the issue anyway.

A hardened criminal delivering pizzas? The minigames are a fun part of the whole, but the pizza delivery one just seems too contrived. I can imagine a hardened criminal driving recklessly in an ambulance to save some patient (while running over many other people) just to extort money from them at the hospital or similar, but food delivery just seems too far out of character.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Skanky's never had the horse's head pizza delivered then.

But seriously I have to politely disagree with you regarding boring gameplay for the GTA series. The beauty of this game, as has been stated already, is the open ended exploring that one can do in a large city setting.

I hope they're making the taxa driving missions more complex, instead of just having ~10 drop points per city-part...

Well, back in GTA 2 there was that redneck gang, I suppose they'll be making a comeback.

Taxi missions are great. They are even more fun when you can include some stunt jumps at the same time.
