  • Do I see someone jumping through already open doors?

    Congrats, Spikie.

      • So who is going to GM the next one??? Do we have any volunteers, Smiley?
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

            • And though I am not sure I get the tactics, I would like to join the next one.

                • Thanks all.

I join the next game also.

                  • I'm in for the next game... but I'd like to see something put in place to speed up the endgame. Spike had this wrapped up as soon has he managed to get his ship build. Dragging it out any further than that seemed a little pointless to me.

                      • In retrospect I do feel quite happy - this was my second (third?) GO game and I survived quite a long time compared to my earlier escapades. Quite a marvel I made it this far with the setbacks our alliance met.

True. I could have conceded halfway through the game, too. That's not the point. I think there should have been a mechanism in place to end the game and declare Spike the winner, or force a final fight, or something.

                            • An excellent idea

Let's discuss it in the sign-up thread.

Rubbish. This just sounds like sore loser talk to me. You and Kass had a sizeable fleet together. I took 1 extra turn, 2 tops, to turn likely victory into certain one. Anyone who wouldn't have done the same is a fool. Note the last few turns were played very fast also.
