What a silly thing to do.

I wonder if "avenging your ally" will balance out the bad karma you get from backstabbing people.

Well, first of all, it means you have to actually work to be able to construct bigger ships, isntead of just rushing someone and using their bases to enable them... hwoever, if you want it rationalised, I'd say it's because your home abses are wher ethe manufacturing and such take place, while the captured ones are just feeding you extra resources.Comment

I'm not asking for a 'realism' rationale GT, I'm just stating that these bases should count for balance reasons towards build limits. Now as you say they shouldn't count equally as compared to built bases, but they should count. With BP we use a system where captured bases count for less. I think it makes sense to use a similar system for build limits.Comment
