FG: Society IV Signup Thread

Okay, Six Players now (and just to think that a few days ago I thought we were done for with only 3 players ).

I am not sure of map size, past precident suggests that 6 players x 12 square each is about 72 squares but a 8x8 map is 64 and a 9x9 map is 81, so I am going to make my first GM decision and decide for you all (rather then waiting for a poll on it).

While I am on the road right now, I do have daily computer access and hope to get this up and running very soon

Oops, you caught me, I did just use the same map, figured if it ain't broke, don't fix it (and I couldn't find Gamecube's Society III Map).

Anyone with any objections please say so, I was going to change the starting locations, but didn't see any reason to.

As for the new thread, yes indeed we do need one, but I want to combine the revised ruleset into the new thread first (defensive spies, revolutions etc).

One question I had posed earlier which has not yet been resolved is if the actions of a Spy cause a declaration of war or not. Currently they do not yet I propose that they do, anyone have any input on this?

Hmm, how about spies create an intermediate Crisis situation, where either one can attack and take territory like in a full scale War the following turn, but if neither does, its back to ordinary peacetime?
