Round 14: Dogpile on Geomodder

Geomodder’s fate dominated this round, as he was invaded by fleets from both Smiley and Joncha. As it turned out, Smiley’s expeditionary force arrived first, and opened fire on Geomodder’s hastily-assembled picket lines.

As it turned out, Smiley’s ships arrived first, and, through a combination of superior firepower and skilful management, destroyed Geomodder’s entire fleet without loss. Smiley proceeded to occupy Geomodder’s five remaining bases, leaving him almost, but not quite, equal to Joncha in industrial capacity. Joncha’s fleet had arrived shortly after Geomodder’s fleet went down, but, as ordered, they withdrew upon finding Smiley’s troops already in place.
