  • Neverwinter Nights - The revenge

No it's not a new x-pack, just the title of the all new Neverwinter Nights thread. Use for discussion of the original campaign and the expansions, plus MP on servers like the persistent world of Folderol.

/me swings his halberd around this thread.
    Hahaha, avenge that!
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

          Is there a new one?

Hang on though. I haven't even played either of the first two yet. Or finished the original campaign. Damn.

I didn't play at all last weekend I'm afraid. I spent all my usual gaming time (Sunday morning) watching cricket instead. But I may well try to advance one of my many games this evening.

A new NWN XP? Great! How much does it cost? When will it be released?

I heard that it will include playable planar races and new prestige classes like Runecasters and Psionicists.

I've been playing on Neversummer4 quite a bit.

I think it's really the best 'Persistent World' out there, in that it mimmicks MMORPGs quite well. While servers like Arabel make an extremely brilliant and well detailed server, it is really quite limited in scope.

Neversummer is still in a beta phase, though, and it really shows. There aren't any quests or really any NPC interaction at all, and there are still caves or dungeon entrances tha don't lead anywhere. But it shows alot of promise.

Please PM me if you are one of Jamski's
                          many fans
, as I am intrigued to discover what kind of lunatic he attracts.

I heard that the latest x-pack will be centred around time-travel. A Dimension door spell goes horribly wrong, but it does mean that your character gets lots of new adventures, and those of the Jamski persuasion get a load of weird new tile-sets.
All this from a reputable source, you understand. I didn't realise that the National Enquirer did PC RPGs, but you learn something new all the time.

I'm looking forward to the Victorian Gothic tile-set (the archway placeables look awesome)

Sounds good. I may take a peek once my City of Heroes month comes to a close.
