      I wonder what will happen when someone releases a game with the initials FG? LotM could quite possibly go insane.

      Still waiting on Spaced to get his orders in. Its Monday in the US by now, isn't it?

            And, continued from the other thread:

            Well any limit should also apply to spies, since otherwise the stockpiling will continue but shift towards spies.
            The thing is, spy stockpiling isn't as annoying as shield stockpiling, because you need a lot of them to defend yourself properly, and they run out much more quickly.

              I think shield stockpiling shouldn't be allowed.
              Spy stockpiling is OK since they are less powerful.

                If spies became able to take down shields, then unlimited stockpiles of both would be fine IMHO. Or perhaps it'd take 2 spies to remove the sheild.

                I also think that next game we should have combat 1.3 where casualties are removed immediatly as damage is inflicted. The first casulaties would be the type of ship placed at the end of the OOB, moving forward. More realistic methinks.

                            Round 15

                            Round 15 opened with every single Overlord issuing an attack order. All except GeoModder sent a spy to their enemies as well to prevent retaliation. In the ensuing confusion, only General Tacticus managed to mobilise his fleet and steam towards Spaced Cowboy's entire defence force. Upon discovering his ally would not be joining him due to "technical difficulties", GT was heard to say "The hell with it. Victory or death!" and ordered his fleet to engage.
