if I am looking at someone all teh time, it is better to look at girls

I also don't get into cyber relatinoships, both as a girl and as a guy

Anyway, in Wizardry, there is a class Valkyrie, which is open only to female characters.
So does Nethack. But then in Nethack, you may change sex by putting on some helmet, so you may end up playing a girl by accident.
I agree that Arcanum had different gameplay when you were male or female (particularly 2 side quests: one with a club where only males were allowed into, and another one -Ms Lilly's-).
Seeing a girl running around the screen is probably the main reason after stats/gameplay.

He said RPG's, but yeah, I played Chung Li a lot because I liked the speed advantage. Although that edge wore down quickly.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

i've never played a girl unless there was a real benefit, and no pixelated boobs don't count. in quake 2 everyone copied thresh and played with female models because they were quieter and smaller model wise(even if the hitbox was the same) so they'd be harder to see/hit.

It's more fun playing as a guy and seducing Bastila anyway.

I put it on myself without bothering to identify it.

I didn't realise I was a woman until I was about 2 thirds of the way through the game.

I very seldom play as female characters in RPGs.

In beat-em-ups, on the other hand, I tend to prefer female characters because of their speed.

                              speaking of.

I once made a thread in another forum saying females shouldn't be able to have a strength of 17 or 18 (in the AD n D ruleset). The idea that women are completely equal to men in every respect seems silly. What's the point in choosing a woman then?

If if you do choose a female with a strength of 18, then you shouldn't be able to use a petite character portrait/avatar. It should force you to choose the huskier pictures

Women in AD&D can't have higher than 18/50 strength, and that's if they're human. Other races are weaker (ex. dwarves and half-orcs). But that may have changed since I played.

And really anyone with a strength over 13 should be somewhat buff.
