I guess a compromise on cities would be to name ones that have wonders in them, and other cities could simply be a list that doesn't necessarily correspond to any map coordinates. Gamecube, what ya think?

4000 AD
Turn #1
A time for expansion
With five of the fledgling Societies building a new city, this could truely be called a time for expansion. Spaced Cowboy and his Spaced Homies built to the East. Skanky Burns and his Nubile Virgins built to the North. General Ludd and his Gregorians built to the West. Kucinich and the Washintonians also built West. Vovan and his yet unamed Society built to the east.
A time for science
Two of the Societies, Jonny's Paradise and Smiley's New Offtopic used their money to discover iron. With the knowledge of iron, they abandoned their tools of bronze, and forged much stronger iron ones.
A time for greatness
While others were founding cities or forging tools of iron, Duke O' York and the people of York were busy building a great tower. They called it the Tower of York, but it was not easy to build. The bronze(hey, he hasn't discovered iron yet)-fisted despot nearly had to deal with revolutionaries, but his Overseers put any down before anything even started. In the end, his people were greatly pleased and would always call him "The Dreamer"
The first weapons
With the gold he had left afterdiscovering iron, Jonny decided to make weapons. His nations greatest iron smithies toiled day and night to make enough swords and armor for the worlds first military force, a complement of legionaires.

Smiley had the equation wrong, it should be
price = base price x ((P - r) /p)
not
price = base price x (p - r/p)
The way Smiley had it made the division take place before p-r, but p-r should take place before the division.Last edited by Gamecube64; July 4, 2004, 23:15.I changed my signature
