The Settlers 2.5

Has anybody heard about this? Apparently they're making an unofficial addon to The Settlers II, which should contain:

- MP mode
- Diplomacy
- Trading
- Better AI

But for now the site is only in German, I don't know if they'll release an english version... but hey, I got the german version of the game anyway

It's still in the beginning, and they've got no release date yet, but I sure hope they'll finish it within a year

Looks interesting. I know enough German to play games I think.

Though I have always been sorta weary of fan-projects. They have a tendendcy to not work out. Hopefully, this one will be different.

Now, just to find a German version of Settlers 2. I had the German version at home, but then I don't have it here...

I've got the same feeling towards fan-projects, but I hope this one works... from the look of it, it seems like there's lots of people (in Germany at least) who wants this 'addon'
