Boy, I'm old. Ultimas I-III were great fun, I got down to the final level of the final dungeon in Ultima 4 answered 7 questions correctly, and somehow brainfarted on the last question and was teleported out of the dungeon.
Never played it again.
The best RPG I ever played was a Shadowrun game for the Sega Genesis in the mid 90's.

Without question, Fallout is my favourite. The fantasy setting bores me.
I wish there were a Baldur's Gate style PC RPG set in the future. KOTOR doesn't count because it's Star Wars and not that far removed from fantasy.Voluntary Human Extinction Movement http://www.vhemt.org/Comment
