Is a "task force" the same as a guild or clan?

If it is, you need to find one where everyone is there for a common purpose. Spur of the moment "HAY GUYS, JOIN MY GUILD!!!@" type of guilds aren't going to last long.

Find a guild that has a community, or is a part of it. All of the stable guilds I have been in have had a decent website and a relatively active forum, or they played a big role in the server's politics and interacted with other guilds alot.

If you're into roleplaying, you can probably find a group of people who are all interested in roleplaying and will thus be more inclined to stay in touch with other rolesplayers.

A task force is a long series of missions kind of equivilant to a crossover in comics.

I think that Field Theory was still going strong, and neither I nor the founder (who is my roomate, I was the second person who joined) have played in over a month (I have logged on only once or twice since a week after I bought it when I quit to focus on school work)
