  • Late era Speccy platformer? I do seem to recall a game which had some large and detailed characters jumping about. Hmmm...
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

    • Did you have to jump about and release fairies? Is it Stormlord?

      • No and no.

Clue: Your weapons in this game were bombs, which you picked up, and a nut based weapon.

        • did it play as single screen levels or was it of the scrolling screen/large level type platform game?

Cool Croc twins? for single screen type

          James Pond? for scrolling screens

So just take the single answer for the type of platform game it actualy is - so i'm only making one guess, technicaly speaking, if that makes any sense

          • That's a cunning way to shotgun, but both wrong.

            IIRC it scrolled.

            • I get the feeling you and your spectrum games are an equaly bad habit as me and my Atari

Bomb Jack II? (the first didnt scroll but maybe the second did?)

                  • Bombs and nuts...? And a speccy game in the early 90's? Was it released for the C64 and Amiga?

                        • No. Who would use a nut-based weapon? I'll help, it was a peanut.

                          • There was a game with a squirrel called Nuss, but I remember very little else. I didn't enjoy it.

                            • You're an animal, but bigger than a squirrel. That was a clue, I wasn't just talking to DoY.

                              • Well the only thing I'd associate with peanuts is a pachyderm, but can't remember any games with a betrunked hero.
