In a recent game using the latest Playtest build, I had Peace and Trade Treaties with England. However, since they had slaves and I had a single small town on their continent, I decided to liberate a slave. Doing so broke the treaties I had with them and incurred double diplomatic penalties.
Firstly: the actions of abolitionists and slavers are now public - is this correct?
Secondly: If this is correct, perhaps a dialog box warning that the action would violate treaties would be nice for those of us prone to impulsive action (which could also be disabled in the Advance Options menu).
Thanks.
