Are you being serious? If you are, I can talk to licensing for you and see what they'd want for it. Or else I can put you in touch with licensing and you can do it yourself.

I imagine the seriousness depends on how much it costs. Theres alot of people around here wasting an extra kidney.

I'm wasting my left arm if anyone wants it. Only need my right arm to use the mouse.

As Maq says, it really depends on the price. In the past Apolyton has financed the contruction of a (cheap) house for a girl from the Philippines, so we know it's possible to raise a nice sum of money for a good cause. But I doubt we'd be able to raise more than a few thousand dollars (at most), so if you can tell us in advance that the price range is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars or more, then nevermind. But if the price range is closer to a few hundred or a few thousand dollars, I would be very interested indeed.

So if you think the costs would be even remotely affordable for us, I (and probably many others) would very much appreciate it if you could indeed ask licensing about this (or put me in touch with them).

Edit: IIRC Velociryx was interested in the license as well a while ago. With a company (Velocigames) behind him, who knows what kind of money he'd be able to raise...

I have no experience in this region, but my guess would be in the 10's of thousands to 100's of thousands. This is based purely on numbers I've heard for otehr licensing agreements. And I have no actual knowlege of the CTP license.

                  Pyaray,
I thought so as well, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask Too bad...

I wonder if the licenses Pyaray is recalling are also "dead" commercially? Of course ATVI have no obligation to sell but they would take as much money as they could if offered, but they cant expect to receive as much as say, the Half-Life license. Money is better in the bank as they say, or someone said, or i just said.

I used to work for a company that was looking into licensing old Apple ][ games to remake under Windows. "Dead" enough?

I'm still waiting for an email from Activision licensing. They haven't gotten back to us.
